Hola, we are Alora Yurts we have set up camp in several magical places over the past 14 years . Our aim was always to create a relaxing escape from the stresses and strains of life somewhere that we ourselves would love to stay.

After a few days walking in the beautiful hills, visiting nearby Granada or simply lazing by the pool reading a book and stroking one of our rescue dogs we feel you will leave refreshed and recharged.

With the current Global situation it has been time for a rethink and we have downsized to a simpler beautiful off grid location. The site itself is in the countryside nestled among the olive trees but is walking distance to the historic town of Lanjaron.

There you will find the quaintness of traditional spanish life with the added benefit of a few shops, bars and restaurants for everyone’s taste. Lanjoran has amazing walks . horse riding and mountain biking as well as been 30 mins to either the beautiful city of Granada or the coast.

At our new amazing place we are now have two beautiful hand painted Mongolian Yurts and a lovely wooden Shack for the less adventurous camper. All three units are individually furnished with an eclectic mix of delights from around the globe. All three have lush comfy beds, woodburners for those cooler evenings and are completely candlelit, very romantic.

Yurt Lola which has now had a re-vamp and is situated in it’s own little dingly dell with an outside four poster bed, seating area and hammock with lovely shady cover from the sun under ancient Olive trees. It has a compost loo and washbasin but shares the shower with the other yurt.

Yurt Pomegranate is our new yurt its beautiful ,its more exposed but has great views up towards the mountains. It also has a outside bed for stargazing and private seating area, It has a compost loo and washbasin but shares the shower with the other yurt.

The Love Shack is a cute little wood cabin with attached outdoor shower and compost toilet. Inside there is a little kitchen with gas burner for either full self catering or just a cuppa. The lovely wooden veranda has a seating area, hammock and views down the valley.

The site has a lovely pool area with four poster beds, outdoor dining area and several chill out areas. Perfect for a romantic break, retreat with a friend , a solo visit or the whole site can be booked for smaller groups. We have an outdoor kitchen area if you would like to self cater and as always we offer a fully catered option and honesty bar.
